Is the check really free?
Yes. You can upload a photo, see every measurement, and adjust the framing as many times as you like without paying. You only pay $12 if you want the file itself, without the watermark, plus the specification report.
Do you guarantee my visa photo will be accepted?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We verify the things that can be measured in a file: dimensions, file size, colour space, background, head height, and eye position. A consular officer can still reject a photo over appearance, likeness, or policy. What we give you is a report showing exactly what was verified and against which published requirement.
Why do so many DS-160 photos get rejected?
The two most common causes are head size and file size. The head must fill 50–69% of the frame from chin to crown, which is larger than most people crop, and the upload rejects anything over 240 kB. Both are measured here before you pay.
Do I need an account?
